á       Pile wet sand and pack it as you build up.  Use shovels & buckets to fill and transport the wet sand.

á       Pre-made forms (wood or plastic) can be packed with sand, inverted & removed for shaping.

á       No structure materials other than sand and water can be used in completed castles or sculptures.

á       Only shells, seaweed, rocks & driftwood found on site may be used to decorate your creation.

á       Shape & detail with any hand tool: spoons, melon scoopers, rakes, combs, straws, putty knives, etc.

á       Shape from the top of the piece towards the bottom, move sand away as you work.

á       Misting with spray bottles or garden sprayers will keep the sand from drying & loss of fine details.
